On Saturday, May 27th, Members from the KQARS and Kent County Office of Emergency Services EMS Division arrived at the Station shortly before 8 am to begin the annual safety briefing and provide Emergency medical services for the Chestertown Tea Party. Chief Jason Lobley (KQARS) and Chief Logan Quinn (KEMS) Led the Safety briefing for approximately 30 minutes, and then units responded to the Tea party Festival to Stage. Chief John Darling (CVFC) from the Chestertown VFC coordinated the Fire Response aspect with members from the CVFC. Each year these agencies work in unison during what is considered one of the most significant influxes of people into the county to ensure all Public Safety Aspects are met and able to be handled. The KQARS handled a total of 3 Transports and 9 Patient encounters and stood by for a total of 10 hours to provide dedicated coverage. We hope everyone enjoyed the Tea party Festival and we cant wait to see you for the 250th Anniversary next year!
