Emergency Dial 9-1-1It is with Deep Sadness we announce the passing of Life Member Bruce Owens. Bruce Owens Joined the Kent & Queen-Anne's Rescue Squad On November 15th, 2001, and was an active Emergency Vehicle Operator. Bruce held Many Positions within the Department, Including the Committee Chairperson of the Driver Board, Board Of Directors, and Captain. Bruce dedicated 15 years to the Department and in 2016 was nominated and voted in as a Life Member of the KQARS. Bruce was also a member of the Betterton Volunteer Fire Company for 50+ years and held many positions within their Company. Bruce exemplified the Meaning of what it is to be a volunteer and provided a lifelong service to the community. Rest in peace, Life Member Bruce Owens.
