On Wednesday, June 28th, The KQARS and the crew and leadership from the Sultana held a joint training on extricating patients from large vessels. The training lasted approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Topics covered during the training were patient packaging, patient extrication from the lower level of the vessel, and extrication from ship to vessel. Members from the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company attended as well as Director Pete Landon from the Kent County Officer of Emergency services.
